Sleeping Naked Boosts Marital Satisfaction
Sleeping naked could help couples live happily ever after, a new survey reveals.
Besides sleeping naked, and banishing food from the bedroom can also help boost marital satisfaction.
The latest survey, which involved 1,000 UK respondents, found that people who sleep naked are most satisfied with their marriage or relationship.
The survey revealed that less than half of people who wear nightgowns reported being "extremely happy". However, 57 percent of those who slept in the nude reported being "extremely happy" with their marriage.
The survey, conducted by Cotton USA, also found that people were most turned off by dirty laundry, clutter and unmade beds. The survey also found that eating in bed, allowing pets in the bedroom, stealing the blanket and sock wearing were also big turn offs.
The study also found that sheets could also significantly affect a person's attractiveness. Researchers found that satin sheets were judged as extravagant and sleazy. However, cotton sheets were seen as "clean," and polyester sheets were judged as "cheap".
"There are many factors which can affect the success of a relationship, but one factor which is often overlooked is the bedroom environment," said Stephanie Thiers-Ratcliffe, a spokeswoman from Cotton USA, according to The Independent.
