Here are some diets that you should include in your kid's diet to protect their eyesights.

1. Sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes not only ensure better healthy vision but also help eyes to adjust to low levels of light. You can add these to a baked dish or dish out sweet potato wedges for your kid.

2.  Spinach

Spinach contains nutrients that act like a sunscreen. It contains nutrients that absorb 40 to 90% of blue light intensity. If spinach is not easily available you can also consider other leafy greens like kale and lettuce in your kid's diet.

3. Carrots

Carrots are rich in beta carotene - an antioxidant that helps reduce risk of macular degeneration. Carrots are one of the most recommended addition for improving eyesight.

4. Almonds

Study shows a handful of almonds can provide about half your daily dose of vitamin E, another important addition for healthy vision.

5. Blueberries

Blueberries strengthen blood vessels in the back of the eyes. If your kids don't like blueberries, try serving them blueberry smoothie instead.
