Playing the guitar makes a man 90 percent more handsome, according to a new study.

The latest study revealed that one in four women would date someone purely because they can play the guitar.

The study revealed that men and women admit that playing the guitar makes an individual more attractive. However, it's men who are more likely to pick up the guitar to impress the opposite sex, according to the Daily Mail.

The study also revealed that one in three British women true to play a riff or two to impress someone they have a crush on. 

The study also revealed that 10 percent of women feel like guitar playing is a must in men.

When asked why, participants believe that the Jimi Hendrix is the reason why guitar is so sexy. However 90 percent of people surveyed believe that it's undeniably sexy when a person can play a guitar, according to the study,

"The nation has confirmed that the pulling power of guitar is here to stay," a spokesperson for eBay said in a statement.
