ISIS Blowing up Foes by Tying them to the Columns of Ancient Palmyra

ISIS seems to have no dearth of heinous methods of execution. Over the last few months, they have only ramped up their atrocities against the victims and their enemies. Only recently, the members of the group were seen tying three people to the columns of Ancient Palmyra and killing them by detonating these pillars, reported the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights. The group told the media that they were informed about the killings from the city's local sources which are being controlled by the ISIS since May. This London based Human rights group is dependent on the activists that live in Syria so that they can document the violations that are rampant in the ISIS controlled nation, says CNN.

There is not much information about the executions. It is also not known who were the men that were killed so brutally and what did they do to warrant such atrocious death. However, ISIS has been known to kill brutally for even the pettiest offences. In another execution, ISIS reportedly ran over a Syrian military member with a tank because he did the same with the dead bodies of IS soldiers. Some people that have been sentenced to death are asked to dig their own graves before they are finally killed, reports Fox News.

ISIS, also known as Islamic State in Iraq and Syria is known to have taken over large portions of both the countries in order to build a caliphate. Wherever this group is active, harsh Sharia Laws are applicable. The jihadists of ISIS have recently seized control of a UNESCO world heritage site, Palmyra, and the adjoining areas from the forces of Syrian government as of May 20th. Since then, the extremists belonging to ISIS have been known to behead the antiquities expert and also those who were against the demolition of the architectural heritage from the yesteryears, as per New York Post.
