Bearded Men More Likely to Cheat, Steal and Fight: New Survey
Ladies, before you commit to a relationship or prepare your wedding vows, maybe you should ensure one more time if your partner has been predominantly a clean-shaven man or not!
According to a UK-based survey conducted by Eva (video social networking app) and Censuswide, over 40% of bearded men have cheated on their partners, gotten into a brawl or have stolen something, reports The Independent. Over 2000 people were surveyed on this, and the research found a strange correlation between facial hair on men in conjunction with negative actions such as cheating, fighting and stealing.
Jens Wilkhom, from Eva, who is also a fashion photographer said: "In my photography career I've certainly noticed attitudes are shifting in regards to long beards and moustaches. Fashion changes so quickly, the beard trend is one that comes in every decade or so, but we might be seeing the end of current beard cycle." - as reported on the University Herald.
According to Elite Daily, with reference to the respondents who participated in the survey, 47% of bearded men admitted to cheating on their partner as compared to 20% who did not boast a beard. In terms of brawling and fist fighting, 45% of men with beards admitted enjoying it whereas 29% of clean-shaven men favored keeping away from such situations. Last but certainly not the least, when it came to thefts, 40% of bearded men had stolen something during their lives as compared to 17% in the beardless quota of men.
