Sex More Enjoyable for "Sexy" Women, Study
All the people stressing about looking hot and attractive can take it easy now. New study reveals that the people who find themselves attractive are known to have a much more active sexual life and get more partners to bed. Two Australian researchers analyzed a questionnaire found that the ones who had self confident were known to enjoy sex more than the ones who did not find themselves sexually attractive, reports New York Daily News.
The study said that, "Feeling sexually attractive is associated with an individual feeling more confident as a sexual partner, more satisfied with their sexual experiences, as well as experiencing a greater frequency of sexual activity". The study published in the International Journal of Psychology this month involved 3000 people in the survey, asking them questions regarding self esteem, activity, partners, sexual attractiveness and satisfaction to get the actual perception about sex from these people. The results disclosed that it is not actually about being hot that makes the experience more enjoyable. It is about feeling hot, said New York Daily News.
People who hold negative body images are likely to be apprehensive of baring it all in the bed and sometimes even relationships altogether. A sex therapist in New York, Chris Donahue said, "Many individuals completely withhold or hold back certain components of what arouses them due to anxiety about their body...and all of this leads to both bad sex and having far less sex". The most surprising thing about the study was that the ones who enjoy more were the women who thought of themselves as attractive. The study also revealed that women identified with attractiveness more than men and thus enjoyed sex more too, as per New York Daily News.
