November 11 Sales Day For Apple iPad Pro?
Apple is expected to start selling iPad Pro and its accessories November 11, new reports suggest.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple will start selling the 12.9-inch iPad Pro through both online and real-world retail stores. The 32GB iPad Pro stars selling at $ 799 with Wifi. An LTE costs upwards $ 1,000. Apple had only hinted that it would begin selling iPad Pro in November during its unveiling in September. The November 11 date comes as a surprise as it sees Apple breaking tradition.
Apple Insider reports that the company usually introduces its products on Tuesdays and Fridays, while consciously avoiding holidays. November 11 is a Wednesday and is Veterans Day holiday in the US.
The launch and sale of iPad Pro is widely attributed for the delay in introducing new MacBooks to the market. Reports earlier this year claimed that Apple would unveil MacBooks at its September 9 event but there is no official word yet on the launch of the laptops, leading to the speculation that mac users will have to wait till early next year for the release.
With its tablet, Apple will also start selling accessories for the iPad Pro. These include the Apple Pencil at $ 99 and the Smart Keyboard costing $ 169. The accessories of the iPad Pro would put it in the league of hybrid tablets like the Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 and Google Pixel C.
