T-mobile is all set to make a very bold move as part of its "Uncarrier" campaign. This wireless operator from Bellevue in Washington will allow the users to stream videos by using unlimited data for select services such as HBO and Netflix, tweeted Evan Blass on Thursday. The next "Uncarrier" press event will happen in Los Angeles on 10th November with a tagline, "We never hit pause". This is all the information that the company has revealed so far about its ambitious campaign. Blass, a freelance writer, has a history of making accurate predictions about new products, especially mobile devices, reported CNET.

Janice Kapner, the company's senior vice president of corporate communications said in an email, "There are always rumors ahead of our Uncarrier events and it's part of the fun -- we love it!". Uncarrier 10 is the latest attempt of the company to attract new customers into their fold and away from the two biggest mobile operators in U.S., AT&T and Verizon. To compete successfully in the market, the company has been rolling out user-friendly offers, such as free international data and removal of contracts under their Uncarrier initiative. The strategy has served the company well as it has added more subscribers as compared to their competitors in the last few quarters, as per Financial Posts.

The latest addition to the campaign to lure more customers may actually prove very costly for the carrier. Videos need the maximum bandwidth and giving the customers unlimited access to this content can drive the costs up the wall, especially as more and more customers get attracted to the new offer making its high speed pipes clogged with traffic. This trend by T-mobile has been launched at a time when its rivals are putting cap on data-hungry apps such as video streaming to discourage unlimited usage, says CNET.
