Who’s Down? Asks Google’s New App

This new app has been designed by Google to help the people connect with friends to hang out with. Who's Down will help you figure out if any of your friends are available to do something together with you. So far, this is an invite-only app that is available for iOS and Android users. Once it is installed on your smartphones, all you need to do is use the slider to see which of your friends are available to hangout. When you activate the slider, your friends in your app will be informed that you are free for the next three hours. After this period is over, you will automatically disappear from that friend's list of available friends. However, the only glitch is that you do not have the privilege to change the duration of your availability, says PC Mag.

With this new app by Google, you can spare yourself a phone call or text message to see which of your friends are free to meet. The users can also see which of their friends are down for some activity. The users can change their status to let the other people know what they are down for. If there are one or more friends that are willing, they can initiate a group chat to make further arrangements to meet. The ones that are not available will be seen in the "not down" list, as per Trusted Reviews. For now, this app can be used by college students only as they obviously don't have time to call or text to check who is free for lunch or down for a movie.

Google presents this new and innovative platform to help the college kids plan their next hangout with relative ease. As reported by 9To5Google, the company has already launched this app on Google Play store and Apple App Store.
