iPhone 7 Rumors : Why Is Next Year's iPhone Screen Most Talked About?
Less than two months since iPhone 6S made its debut, tech world is abuzz with talk of iPhone 7. For unknown reasons, the display of next year's device is the most talked about features.
Cult of Mac reported rumors of Apple creating a bevel-less device and featured a concept video by DeepMind. In the video, the concept developers show what could be an iPhone 7c with a bevel-less screen. Images can be zoomed right until the screen's edge. The home button is replaced with an on-screen equivalent while the design of the phone resembles the iPhone 6S.
Picking up other rumors, PC Advisor wondered if the new iPhone get an e-SIM that would allow users to easily shift between carriers. An e-SIM is a virtual substitute for a real SIM. A reversible USB charger, edge display with Touch ID and ultra HD screen resolution are some of the other reported rumors.
If past launches are any indication, Apple could launch the iPhone 7 in September 2016. As with launch of every new generation, the new iPhone could see a radical design change. However most reports speculating about the specifications indicate next year's iPhone may not be different in form factor from iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. That said, don't be surprised if iPhone 7 (and iPhone 7 Plus) turn out with 5-inch and 5.7-inch screens to compete with Android devices.
