As she was reaching 50, Judy Brown thought that she had menopause---not that she was pregnant.

And when she was told about it, she got a baby just an hour later to prove it.

The 47-year-old Massachusetts woman had also thought that she had a gall bladder attack when she went to the Beverly Hospital emergency room. However, she was told that she was pregnant, and got the bouncing baby one hour later, according to The Boston Globe.

She has been married to her husband Jason for 22 years, but Carolyn Rose is their first baby!

"It was a little bit scary getting into the hospital thinking something was really bad was going on," Judy said. "To understand and take in that was I pregnant and was about to go into labor ... it was very overwhelming."

It had not occurred to her that she could be pregnant, and she had presumed that she was putting on weight due to her advancing age.

"I felt like I was turning into my mother," Judy said,

"After being married for 22 years, it really wasn't coming up being pregnant," she added. "It was not really there in my mind."

Dr. Kimberly Gecsi, an obstetrician and gynecologist at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, said that it is not that "far-fetched" when women seem unaware of being pregnant. Somerimes that does happen, according to ABC news.

"People don't know sometimes or they're in denial about it and denial can be pretty strong," Gecsi said.

Many women who are in the other side of their 40s too think that they are pregnant.

"Most physicians who see women in their 40s should be counseling them on [contraception,]" said Gecsi.

The happy couple is now buying a bassinet and a car seat to bring the baby home. Friends and family are on an excited running spree to provide for her.
