Does reading those lengthy users' manual bore you? Hyundai created a solution to this problem that uses augmented-reality technology.

Hyundai Virtual Guide will be available in Google Play and Apple's App Store before the year ends. The application will contain users' guides that have the features of different Hyundai cars. After its launch, Hyundai is planning to add more models to the application.

The application will contain 82 different how-to videos from how to change oil to air filter replacements to Bluetooth phone pairing. There are also 50 additional informational guides that can help you without searching in that thick users' manual.

Augmented Reality comes into play in the six 3D images in Hyundai Virtual Guide. After scanning an area of the vehicle, like the engine bay or the dashboard, the app will point out any relevant information regarding the car part. If you scan your engine and click on "Engine Oil," it'll start by showing you how to look at the dipstick to measure the oil level.

To find out what to include in the application, Hyundai surveyed their customers on what are the most problems that they encounter with their cars.

"The Virtual Guide is aimed at educating our owners on how to use the functions and features of their vehicle," said Frank Ferrara, executive vice president, customer satisfaction, Hyundai Motor America. "We modernized the idea of an owner's manual to provide the highest-quality user experience for the growing population of tech savvy consumers."

This is not the first time when Hyundai tried to offer customers help beyond the users' manual. Hyundai an iPad with a digital manual on its Equus flagship luxury sedan. It has an application that will display the owner's manual inside the vehicle.

The application will be free of charge for both Android and Apple.
