Obesity in children needs to be formally addressed as it can not only hamper their physical health, but can also make them suffer heart diseases. Undoubtedly, this news has caused an uproar among the parents as this upsetting update has allowed many folks to alter their kids’ lifestyles.

According to a new study presented at the US cardiology conference, obese children as young as eight may exhibit significant indicators of heart concerns. The study examined 20 young children and teenagers who were entangled in obesity who were later on compared with normal weight individuals. The jaw-dropping results displayed alarming fallouts as researchers came across that 40% of the obese children are more likely to suffer heart issues due to their thickened heart muscles that can effortlessly intervene in muscle's ability to pump blood. A bit of a thoughtful apprehension, these children should immediately be doctored. Along with the highlighted issues of heart concerns, these children were also trapped under the vicious cycle of depression, high blood pressure and asthma.

Although there were no apparent physical damages, but MRI scans demonstrated substantial amount of impairment within the heart as obesity resulted in an overall 27% more muscle mass in the left ventricle and 12% thicker heart muscles, both responsible for a valid heart stroke. These findings were, therefore, presented at the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions in Orlando, Florida.

The lead investigator Linyuan Jing, a researcher at Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pennsylvania claims that parents should try to intervene and supposed to maintain a healthy lifestyle for their young children so as to avoid the risks of premature strokes and heart dilemmas.

Jing is pretty much concerned and alarmed regarding the long term effects of obesity. The issue should be addressed impromptu and preventive measures should be adopted which involves cutting loose from junk items and making strenuous workout a part of the routine.
