Apple has confirmed that it will shut down Beats Music to promote their own service that has been recently introduced, Apple Music. Apple bought Beats from its creators, Jimmy Lovine and Dr. Dre in 2014. However, now that it has its own music service, Apple will finally pull the plug on Beats by November 30th. By this time, all the subscriptions will be cancelled. The subscribers are being encouraged to shift their profiles to Apple Music which has been launched this year in June. A statement in the support document said, 'All the pros that curated music for you are still crafting more amazing experiences. 'Plus, on Apple Music, you'll get even better recommendations based on music you already listen to and love, 24/7 global radio with Beats 1, exciting material from your favorite artist, and more', reports Daily Mail.

All the subscriptions will automatically end by November 30th and the users will have the option to pick up their music on Apple Music. Apple has announced that they will not take any new requests for Beats and recommend that the users move their current subscription to Apple Music. The subscription music service is priced at $10 for a single user that can be used/shared by up to 6 family members for $15 per month. If you are still new to the service, you can enjoy the free trial and the free music that you get will not be interrupted by advertisements, as reported by PC World.

The news doesn't come as a surprise to Beats subscribers, especially after the launch of Apple Music. The company is all set to challenge the streaming services Pandora and Spotify in their own space. Apple released a statement for the users, "Beats Music ends on November 30. Your subscription will be cancelled, but you can move your picks and preferences over to Apple Music right now", reports The Wrap
