Postponing School For a Year Helps Children In Establishing Their Concentration; Makes Them More Intelligent - Research Says
Most parents in the hopes of highlighting their children tend to enroll the young ones in schools at the earliest possible age. Dwelling in the age of endless competitive scenarios, the young parents are also not at fault as they want their kids to top the list in every occurrence of their lives.
Despite emerging competitive instances, it is time to let go of their troubles and indulge in more spirited and vivacious activities with their children as recent research has shown that registering children at the age of seven and postponing the commencement of their school lives actually helps children in boosting their minds, which ultimately makes them more brilliant and intelligent.
According to the previous insights, scientists from the Stanford University analyzed Danish children and found out that rescheduling school for a year reduces hyperactivity by 73% among children and makes them an epitome of self-control.
Professor Thomas Dee of Stanford University has now further backed up the previous research and claims that children who are into more playful activities while they are at their younger age tend to stay away from mental health issues and are eventually more brainy when registering for school.
The study, which was carried out by the Danish National Centre for Social Research, was published in the National Bureau of Economic Research supported those findings. The experts initiated their study by examining thousands of Danish children from the countrywide mental health survey. According to the results, 54,241 parents maintained that they are keen to send their kids at the age of 7, whereas 35,902 chose 11 as another age for their children.
The research has strongly upheld that children who are taught informally and are better exposed to bouncy accomplishments during their childhood and pre-primary years are generally more patient and are likely to be smart as they grow up. With a better emotional state, they are also able to construct better decisions and perform tasks in a mature way as they are exposed to formal form of study later in their life.
Professor Dee claims that there are parents who are willing to delay sending their child to school in order to make them more socially viable as well as laddering them up in terms of maturity. Researchers are adamant on the fact that postponing the age of registering for pre-school makes them confident for the years to come. Based on these findings, parents will be able to make quick and better decisions for their children and those who are thinking about doing it, the study will ultimately back their idea.
