Despite the big event just a week ago in Paris that claimed 130 lives, all the 138 world leaders have confirmed their attendance for the Paris summit that is being conducted to talk about the climate change. The program will start on November 30th. According to the event coordinators, none of the world leaders have cancelled their participation in the summit. President Barrack Obama of the United States in fact insisted the other world leaders to be a part of the planned summit because the climate change issues have become more pressing than ever, reports Channel News Asia. He also urged that by meeting as planned, they will be able to send a strong message to the world that extremism or acts of terrorism will not stop the world leaders from doing what is required for the welfare of its people and the planet.

The French government also released a statement that the event will not be canceled even though the terrorist attack happens in the face of the big summit. They committed to take full responsibility of the safety of its guests while the talks are on, given the outcome of the summit will contribute significantly towards the improvement as well as collaboration of all the attendees in fighting global warming. The summit will start by initiating talks about restraining steps and solutions for the immediate climate change crisis, committing all the participating countries into taking corrective action for global warming starting in 2020. Approximately 40,000 delegates, observers and journalists will be a part of this event. All the security issues are being handled by the French government and steps are already being taken to maintain peace and order in the capital during the event, as reported by Science Times.
