Looks like iPad Mini and is Powered by Android or Windows 10: Xiaomi Mi Pad 2
Nothing make their products look so identical to Apple the way Xiaomi does. This China based company just launched the Mi Pad 2 and by the first looks of it, you will easily confuse it with iPad Mini. The tablet sports a 7.9 inch display screen with the resolution of 2048 x 1536 for 326 pixels/inch. This is the exact same specs that Apple is using for its small sized tablets. However, if you look deeper, you would be able to find two main differences between the two - Mi Pad 2 can be operated using the Android OS or Windows 10 and it is powered by Intel Atom chip. Xiaomi is a 2.24 GHz Atom x5-Z8500 chip that is linked with a 2GB memory to run its small tablet. It is because of this chip that the users are able to choose the operating system based on their preference as Windows and Android can both run on the silicon of Intel, as reported by Tech Radar.
The users who would like to get an Android version of the tablet will get the customized MIUI software interface with the open source edition of the OS. This means that you will not get the Google Play apps or services on your tablet. There are two variants available with 16 and 64 GB flash drive, says Zednet.
Regardless of what software is running the tablet, Mi Pad 2 has the battery power to run videos for up to 12 hours on a single charge due to its 6,190 mAh battery. The rear camera is 8-MP and 5-MP front camera. It is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The one thing that greatly differentiates Xiaomi Mi Pad with Apple is the price. The 16 GB variant is available at $156 and 64 GB model at $197, according to Windows Central.
