The downloadable content (DLC) for Halo5: Guardians will arrive in December 2015. A teaser trailer revealed just recently shows that there will be new skins and other features available very soon. The first teaser, found by Design & Trend, appeared at the end of the live stream of Halo 5. The game developers offered first look of some features that can be expected with the launch of DLC. According to the video, the famous Rocket Launcher M41 SSR, weapon skins of black and golden color and the Mark IV helmet would be mostly likely used in the ForgeMode, a platform that lets the players create multiplayer maps with the help of various tools. This creative approach will become more interesting now that the new options and items will be available.

IGN revealed some screenshots from the video that showcases new gear and armor. Earlier, Halo 5: Guardians got their hands on a free update that added a new mode, Big Team Battle, the classic mode in the new franchise. There will also be new elements that will massively enhance the multiplayer experience.

The first update of the game was released earlier in November 2015 which is called "The Battle of Shadow and Light Content Update". This patch made many new things available like weapons, vehicles, helmets, armors, emblems, accessories, weapon skins and assassination. Josh Homes, creative director told Redbull that there will be no newer campaigns for the DLC in the coming future. Halo 5: Guardians is only available for Xbox One and the second DLC will be launched in December 2015, reports Latino Post.
