Putin seeks Operation Map of Syria
Russian President Vladimir Putin has asked for the French authorities to furnish a map of the operation that is conducted by the France Government against the ISIS, in order to prevent the attack on the French forces.
Foreign minister Laurent Fabius accompanying Hollande to Moscow said, "He asked us to draw a map of the forces that are not terrorists and are fighting Daesh (Islamic State). He committed to not bombing them once we've provided that".
With the elevating terror attacks conducted by the Islamic State, Russia and France have taken steps to conduct mass air strikes on the Islamic State as they were being the victims of the terror attacks.
However, the West on the other side have accused the attacks by the Russian forces as an endeavour to target the rebel groups fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad instead of the Islamic State.
Assad is an ally of Russia but Western Countries, Turkey and Sunni Arab states such as Saudi Arabia blame him for Syria's nearly five year civil war and want him to be removed from power.
However, France and Russia have remained silent on the fate of President Assad.
