The Amazon Fire tablet is getting amazing. There is a new device that will give users get a handle on their children's usage and then apply a blue light filter for "safe reading", said Tech Crunch.

The Amazon Fire developers first implemented "FreeTime," software that allowed parents control over how much time their children were permitted to use their devices.

The new fire device is manufactured to suit requirements of parents who have older children. It has an updated activity center displaying web history, games played, time spent on reading, use of apps and other related activities.

Hence, it can make parents monitor their children's usage, instead of just blocking it off.

The blue light filter, or "Blue Shade" is also being used. It is linked to problems with sleep, which may throw the sleep cycle off its course and lead to some illness.

This feature, like other applications, places a filter over the screen, permitting users to access their devices without disruptive rays.

"Blue Shade will utilize specialized filters to limit blue light exposure and allow users to easily add warmer filters and bring brightness to their desired levels for reading at night," according to The Verge.

These updates will be launched for Amazon devices in a couple of weeks However, a few, including Fire HD 10 and 8, will be able to get the option to update now.
