UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and the International Pop star sensation Katy Perry has recently revealed a special report on the climate change caused by mankind. Through a mock TV news bulletin called the "Hot and Cold", singer discusses the debilitating impact of extreme weather change and the way it is affecting the children all over the world. "As a California Girl, I'm not the only one experiencing drought," said the superstar. In her red suit, she takes the viewers all over the world in her 60-second clip, starting from Philippines where the tropical cyclones are causing unspeakable devastation. From there, she moves on to Bangladesh where excessive flooding has left millions of people and children homeless. She then shifts the focus to East Africa where malaria continues to wreak its havoc as as many as 800 children die from this disease every day. "And the forecast is: conditions will worsen," concludes Perry. "Let's encourage our world leaders to take this issue seriously," she said in a release followed by the video. "Share your story on how you are helping reduce climate change with the hashtag #FightUnfair. Together we can help change the forecast for millions of children," reports Huffington Post

Katy also shared that the climate change results in heatwaves, floods and other environmental condition that can cause diseases such as diarrhea, malaria and in some extreme cases, even death. She shares how the increasing advancement in science and technology is contributing to an increased risk of climate change and by extension causing intense devastation around the world. She added that the smoke that emanates from the factories is making significant contribution to the greenhouse causes which is the leading cause of global warming, as reported by Northern Californian
