New Yahoo App Makes Video Sifting Easy
New Video guide app by Yahoo will make it easier for the mobile device users to find their choice of content from the long list of video networks and services. The app will let the user search for their favorite content in one place and then will offer the option to buy, stream or watch online in the respective apps such as iTunes, Netflix, HBO GO, Amazon etc., says Engadget.
The video guide app from Yahoo will give the users easy access to all the video content in a single place, across host of streaming services other than Google Play and iTunes to look for the content you want to watch. Just go to the app and search for the show or movie that you would like to watch and then the app will direct you to the place where it is available. Once you select your preference, the video guide app will redirect you to the streaming library. There is also a mood picker feature included in the app that lets the users pick from the GIFs to locate through the curated lists, as reported by Times of India
The app was launched on 10th December 2015 for its users. Yahoo Video Guide will analyze your handset and the video apps that you have already installed on your phone. Then based on your preferences, it will offer you suggestions that can be watched on the phone. The company says that it understands that the consumers prefer video streaming services and relies on their behavior to launch new apps. You can choose the GIFs too and the list of shows or movies will be listed corresponding to the GIF, reports TechCrunch. The app is available for both Android and iOS users and can be downloaded from their respective app stores.
