Google Nexus 6P, successor to the last year's Motorola Nexus 6, has been built by Huawei as their hardware partner. The collaboration of OEMs and Google of the manufacturing of Nexus devices is a unique synergy is similar to the way ODMs work. By lending their design resources and the production lines to Google, hardware vendors take their design cues for new Nexus handsets from their own product lines. As a result, Nexus 6P gained its look from the past handsets made by Huawei that uses metal frames for the body, which has become somewhat of a trademark design for Huawei. While the outward appearance and the hardware design may be influenced by the vendors, the internal hardware goes by Google's preference, says Anand Tech.

The new Google Nexus 6P is equipped with Qualcomm's Sapdragon 810 SoC. The graphics in the handset are also powered by Qualcomm, Adreno 430 GPU which is good enough to do justice to the large 1440p screen of Nexus 6P. The device will be available in two different models - Rest of the World and North American. The camera of this handset is similar to 5X, a Sony IMX377 Sensor sporting large pixels. The resolution offered by the camera is 12.3 megapixel, but together with F/2.0, the camera offers much better sensitivity to light, as compared to other sensors on other handsets, says Anand Tech.

If you have been holding off the purchase of Google Nexus 6P, then the company is now offering good deals to make you buy the handset. For starters, Google is offering a $50 discount on their starting price, making the handset available for $449 for a 32 GB model, 64Gb for $499 and 128GB for $599. You can also avail overnight shipping on handsets that are bought online, according to The Verge
