SpaceX's Falcon 9 met an unfortunate fate as soon as it lifted-off in June. The explosion of Falcon 9 immediately after lift-off was criticized as space exploration being out-of-league for private sector. The critics called it difficult and expensive as well as too dangerous. However, only after 6 months, Falcon 9 has managed to launch 11 satellites into low-earth orbit and safely landed the rocket booster back to earth. The company, SpaceX, promoted by Elon Musk, is dedicated towards offering cheaper access to space. After their third attempt, the company has been able to manage the feat, reported Economic Times.

After the successful landing on Monday, Musk's vision for low-cost spacecraft seems like a successful possibility that has put SpaceX in direct completion with Jeff Bezos of Amazon in an attempt to build spacecraft that can sustain fierce blasts and can be brought back to earth for reuse. SpaceX used a system of sophisticated navigation and used thrusters to bring it from space on to the Landing Zone 1, former rocket and missile testing range used by Air Force. A little while ago, Bezos sent his own test rockets in space and managed to safely land it back on earth. Amazon's Jeff Bezos congratulated SpaceX on Twitter, saying "Welcome to the club!", reported Money Web

Founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, 44, was founded with an objective of enabling making life possible on Mars for people. SpaceX received its certification from Air Force in May to compete against United Launch Alliance LLC, for military launches. The successful flight on Monday was the first upgraded version of Falcon, named after the Falcon spaceship from Star Wars, complete with better engines and more enhancements, said Bloomberg
