Fuel Supply Glitch Forces Recalls Of Ferrari 2016 California T
Ferrari has issued a recall of its 2016 California T Convertibles to address defects in the fuel supply line that pose fire risk.
NBC News reported that the recall began December 14 and the company has notified 185 owners of the defect, stating that dealers will fix the problem without charge. The company, owned by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, has attributed the problem to a defect in a part provided by the supplier.
According to Bloomberg, the affected cars may have a low-pressure fuel line that does not supply efficiently to the fuel pump, resulting in a fire risk. California T Convertibles were made between September 8 and November 11 this year.
Ford has also announced a recalled 2013 vehicles including Explorer, Flex, Taurus Police Interceptor, Lincoln MKS and MKT, reports CBS while adding that up to 868 cars are affected. The recall was issued due to risk of fuel leak in the vehicles caused by a faulty fuel-delivery system.
