Xolo Era : Is it worth the price?

The Xolo Era sports a 5.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen 16M colors display with a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and 196 ppi screen density. The phone has dimensions 143 x 73.2 x 9.4mm. It also comes with multi touch feature, of up to two fingers.

The Xolo Era operates on the Android 4.2.2 KitKat OS and is equipped with a Spreadtrum 7731 chipset, along with Quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 processor, Mali- 400 MP2 GPU and is coupled with a 1 GB RAM.

On the media front of the phone, the Xolo Era features a 8 mega pixels primary camera with LED flash, and a 2 mega pixels secondary camera, and comes with an internal storage capacity of 8 GB, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The Xolo Era offers Wi Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, FM radio and microUSB v2.0 connectivity options.

The Xolo Era features accelerometer, proximity, compass sensors and is powered by a Li-Ion 2,100 mAh battery, which provides an average talk time of up to 24.3 hours on 2G and up to 10 hours on 3G along with a stand by time of up to 511 hours on 2G and of up to 523 hours on 3G.

The device is available in the market from July, 2015 in black color.
