The Xolo Black sports a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen 16M colors display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 403 ppi screen density. The phone has dimensions 155. x 76.6 x 7.3mm. It also comes with multi touch feature, and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection, and HIVE Atlas UI.

The Xolo Black operates on the Android OS v5.0 Lollipop platform and is equipped with a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset, along with Quad core 1.5 GHz Cortex A53 & quad core 1.0 GHz Cortex A53 processor, Aderno 405 GPU and is coupled with a 2 GB RAM.

On the media front of the phone, the Xolo Black features a dual (13 mega pixels + 2 mega pixels) primary camera with LED flash, and a 5 mega pixels secondary camera with LED flash, and comes with an internal storage capacity of 16 GB, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.

The Xolo Black offers Wi Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, FM radio and microUSB v2.0 connectivity options.

The Xolo Black features accelerometer, proximity, compass sensors and is powered by a Li-Ion 3,200 mAh battery, which provides an average talk time of up to 36 hours on 2G and up to 24 hours on 3G along with a stand by time of up to 736 hours on 2G and of up to 699 hours on 3G.

The device is available in the market from July, 2015 in black color.
