With the 6-series of iPhone, Apple reached a milestone in smartphones which was followed soon after with the release of 6s series. However, now the world silently waits in anticipation as to what will Apple bring with its next-generation iPhone 7. The internet is already abuzz with rumors about the smartphone and some of them make some really wild claims regarding the technology that will make the new iPhone 7, reported GSM Arena.

According to Trend Force, the new Apple iPhone 7 will not just come up with yet another "improved design" and modest specifications. Instead, Apple will feature 3GB RAM and is also said to be waterproof like Sony Xperia Z series. Similar to the iPhone 6 and 6s, it is anticipated that Apple will also come up with a plus variant for iPhone 7 as well. The new RAM will most likely be a part of the "Plus" variant and not the 7 model. However, both 7 and 7 plus will have a waterproof exterior. So far, none of the Apple devices have been waterproofed and iPhone 7 may be able to set new standards for the Apple iPhone.

It also expected that Apple will come up with a 4.0-inch screen model in 2016 and this model of iPhone 7 will probably launch in the second quarter of next year. Other variants of iPhone 7 too are expected to launch around the same time. However, all of this speculation as no official information has been released by Apple regarding its flagship phone and its launch in 2016. The company is expected to ship up to 260 million iPhones in 2016 which is more than 12.5% in 2015, reported MNR Daily. The users can also expect to see a slightly changed design in the new handset as the company plans to hide the exposed antenna.
