Even Without Guns, Far Cry Primal is Still Considered Violent, Animals Gain Prominence
Ubisoft Montreal is introducing new approach to Far Cry Primal. Instead of its usual tryst with the crime loads, loaded guns and vehicles, this time the player will be hunting in the woods and avoiding large animals. The recent Far Cry 4 game has been similar to its predecessors in a lot of ways as the critics blame the game developers and suggest that they are playing safe by using the tried and tested game approach over and over again. However, this time, Ubisoft broke away from the pattern with Far Cry Primal that will put the players into the Stone Age with no modern guns and vehicles. Players will have to fight using blunt and sharp weapons and not the machine guns, said Digital Spy. The setting will still remain open-world and will hopefully do justice to the standards of aesthetics set by its ancestors. It can also comprise of jungles, caves and the mountains. Since there will be no technology or use of guns in the game, the players can expect to have a totally different game experience. However, it would still have the same mechanics as the first person shooters.
Players would be required to kill their adversaries in order to survive. It may start with a melee attack in the beginning that will later develop into the shooting animals with bows and arrows and other weapons. Even though the animals have been a part of previous version of Far Cry, their use has always been limited to skinning or looted for valuable items. However, in Far Cry Primal, the animals take on larger role as they can be tamed by Takkar when needed and these animals may also kill the player. The game is expected to launch in 2016 February for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC version is expected to release in March 2016, reported BizTek Mojo
