A study conducted over a period of 24-years, researchers from Harvard University and University of East Anglia studied the connection between weight and consumption of foods that are rich in flavonoids. The study included more than 124,000 men and women and was done in three parts - one had women with average age of 36, one with women in average age of 48 and third one comprised of men with average age of 47. "We found that an increased consumption of most flavonoids was associated with weight maintenance, and even a modest weight loss," study author Aedin Cassidy, from the University of East Anglia, said in a statement. "The results were found to be consistent across men and women, and different ages," reported Times of India
