World's Heaviest Man Walks For The First Time After Years
The world's heaviest man, just 17 but 1,345 pounds, was at last, able to walk for the first time in years. A video camera captured his feat, says Fox News.
He was walking around and beaming, helped by a walker going down a facility hallway.
Khaled Mohsen Al Shaeri, from Saudi Arabia, took the help of medics to reduce 700 pounds. It was the first time he walked after turning into a teenager.
He had hit the headlines in August 2013 after he was airlifted by a medical helicopter to a hospital at late King Abdullah's request. He had to be helped by 30 people and a crane working together.
It was at King Fahd Medical City in Saudia Arabia's capital, Riyadh, that he was put on a strict diet and exercise regimen. The current success has been met with all-round happiness, and public opinion hopes that the decline continues.
