The biggest Rubik's cube in the world is about 5 feet wide and weighs 220 pounds, over 20,000 times bigger than the standard cube we played with as a child. We are all familiar with the Rubik's cube and now the a new, bigger version of this popular puzzle game has been developed, something that has never been seen before. This is largest, functional Rubik's Cube in the world, reported Lake Andes Wave. Due to its sheer size, it not only needs you to use your mind but also a lot of energy for solving this giant puzzle.

Tony Fischer, a veteran puzzle maker, is the creator of this largest cube. Following a release of the puzzle, he also released a video that demonstrated how to use the puzzle. In the video, one can see Fischer getting the cube outside his house and then walking around the puzzle, twisting and solving it. Fisher wants to set the world record for making the largest Rubik's Cube ever. Although he wanted to make one larger than the current size, but any larger would make it difficult to shift the cube in and out of the house, again and again. Most importantly, he didn't want to create a cube that could not be used by a person single handedly. The building of the cube was harder than he thought as the raw materials required for not easy to find, reported I4U News

First invented in 1974 by a Hungarian sculptor, Erno Rubik, he was also a professor of architecture. As soon as the first Rubik's came out, it became an instant hit. Fisher added that it is not easy to cheat on the cube because of its size as removing and placing the stickers is quite a task in itself, says Mashable
