Expect Re-Release of Resident Evil Series on its 20th Anniversary
Resident Evil series are all set to hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles again. The developer and publisher of the game, Capcom, will first release Resident Evil 6, followed by Resident Evil 5 set in Africa by March 29th. Both the games will be available for $20 sometim this summer. For the iconic Resident Evil 4, you may have to wait until fall for the game to be released.
The physical versions of each of these games have been planned and will cost about the same as their digital versions, confirms the company spokesperson. While it is fair to assume that you may already own RE 4 on your Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Gamecube and PC, the wait for the repackaged version is just becoming a tad ridiculous, as reported by Engadget
Resident Evil 2 is undergoing a remake which is due next year that means the only games from the series that are not going to be available anytime soon is Resident Evil 3 and Code: Veronica, even though they were both available in the last gen consoles.
This March, Resident Evil marks its 20th anniversary and still there is no news what Capcom plans to do with regards to new games, outside of Umbrella corp spin-offs, as reported by Metro
Even though there is nothing new to look forward to, except the repackaged versions of the old popular games, there is always online shooter Umbrella Corps that can keep you occupied for a reasonable amount of time, says Microcap Magazine
