The HTC One A9 sports a 5.0 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and 441 ppi screen density. The phone has dimensions measuring 145.8 x 70.8 x 7.3 mm and weighing approximately 143 grams, along with a multi touch feature, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added protection and HTC Sense UI.

 On the media front of the phone, the HTC One A9 features a 13 mega pixels primary camera with LED flash, auto focus, geo tagging and a 4 mega pixels secondary camera, and comes with an internal storage capacity of 16 GB/ 32 GB, which could be further expanded up to 200 GB via a dedicated slot for microSD card.

The HTC One A9 operates on the Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow, upgradable to v6.0.1 Marshmallow platform and is equipped with a Quad core 1.5 GHz Cortex A-53 & Quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex A-53 processor, a Aderno 405 GPU, along with a Qualcom MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset and a 2 GB/ 3 GB of RAM.

The HTC One A9 offers Wi Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, dual SIM, dual standby, USB OTG and FM Radio, connectivity options alongside Dolby audio and Hi-Res audio.

The HTC One A9 is powered by a non removable Li Ion 2,150 mAh battery, which facilitates a stand by time of up to 432 hours and a talk time of up to 16 hours and music play of up to 60 hours.
