WWE Mind Games On For Shane McMahon vs Stephanie McMahon: Who Will Come Out As Winner?

An added twist to the WWE will be forthcoming and it may not all be technically settled in the ring. This is with regards to control of WWE Raw which was one of the highlights at the recently concluded WWE pay-per-view Payback.

Before the main event got underway pitting WWE heavyweight champion Roman Reigns against AJ Styles, there was that segment where WWE CEO Vince McMahon would select between Shane McMahon or Stephanie McMahon to rightfully call the shots of WWE Raw.

Vince never really made an actual choice and instead decided to let both Shane and Stephanie have equal rights on what to do with WWE Raw moving forward. The decision didn’t come as a surprise though it does reel in new twists not entirely limited to in-ring action.

The two wasted no time exercising their respective powers at WWE Payback. Shane called for the main event to resume with a “no count-out” stipulation but Stephanie made a bigger move when she called it a “no disqualification” match.

Regardless, Reigns still came out on top of it though the night would not officially close until another surprise announcement. As the trio were discussing backstage, the main event for WWE Extreme Rules which happens on May 22 has been booked with Reigns once again tangling with Styles.

With the siblings obviously not liking each other (on screen), the coming shows should be interesting to see. There will be controversial matches and results from here on, carrying the face vs. heel storyline up to the management level.

Equally interesting though is whether Shane or Stephanie would be tied up with any of the WWE stars for future shows. For now, there is no inkling of such happening though the landscape could change moving forward.

It is likely to include Reigns who has not been tied up with either McMahon. Of the two however, everyone knows that Reigns has a sour working relationship with Stephanie which could hint at Shane likely backing him up.

If that is the case, it could be all part of the Bulletproof Balor Club rising as well with Stephanie likely to align with the faction.

Playing out their respective roles, there is no question that Shane is a big favorite and such can be seen with the way shows have turned out since he was granted control after the WWE Royal Rumble. But things just won’t be that intriguing without the bad side, something obviously lurking with Stephanie likely to anchor it with her body language thus far.
