Sony Xperia X Performance Specs, Release Date & Price: Handset To Launch In Europe In July, Pre-Orders Begin
Japanese tech giant Sony had announced three new Xperia series smartphones namely Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia X Performance during Mobile World Congress event which was held sometime earlier this year. While, the price of the Xperia X and Xperia XA was already revealed, the pricing of the Xperia X Performance remained a mystery.
Now, Sony has finally started taking pre-orders for the Xperia X Performance through its online stores in Europe. The Xperia X Performance smartphone is currently available for pre-orders in France, Italy, Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands at EUR 699. The flagship handset will be available from early July, according to GSM Arena.
Talking about the specifications, the Sony Xperia X Performance, which is the most high-end offering of the lot, sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Triluminos display; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC; a 23-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM; 32GB inbuilt storage, expandable storage support up to 200GB via microSD card, and 4G LTE support.
The Xperia X Performance measures 143.7x70.4x8.7mm and weighs 164 grams. It packs a 2700mAh battery. The handset runs on the latest Google Android operating system, dubbed Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features the predictive hybrid autofocus feature which allows the user to choose subject and then predict its motion.
The handset is available in four different color variants including the White model, Graphite Black, Lime Gold, and Rose Gold, according to MNR Daily.
The Xperia X comes with a 5-inch FullHD display with a 1920x1080 pixels resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The handset sports a 23-megapixel camera on the rear along with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. The Sony Xperia X has been priced as low as EUR 599 in some countries, and will become available sometime later this month.
Lastly, Sony's Xperia XA boasts a 5-inch HD screen and a MediaTek MT6755 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It sports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear, an 8-megapixel camera on the front and a 2,300 mAh battery. The Xperia XA, which has been priced as low as EUR 299, will start shipping in late June.
