Moto X4 Specs, Release Date & Price: Leaked Photos Reveal Design, Features [Rumors]
Motorola could soon be in the limelight once more depending on the type of new smartphones the company plans to offer in the market. Two devices it is expected to unveil are the Moto X and Droid variants. Recent leaks have spurred up the coming of the two Motorola models thought the reception may not entirely be that impactful particularly in the area of design.
First up is the Moto X which seems to have all the more bulked up despite the fact that most people have been complaining about its overall design. That includes the physical home button and the main camera sensor located at the back of the device which, per critics, may have become worse.
For the ones who had initially complained about the bulkiness that bulging rear phone cameras have caused, it does seem a bit odd why Motorola has seemingly not taken that into consideration if the leaks are indeed what people will be getting soon.
Of course, there could be reasons behind the camera bumps. That includes possibly the dual LED flash design though some rival brands have somehow found a way to work around it.
As far as the physical buttons are concerned, the new design may require folks some memorization and getting used to as far as where they would be located. There will be two separate buttons for the power and volume buttons, all a bit equidistant.
The home button will be flanked with two holes which could be sensors (infrared or proximity) though the areas would normally be saved for navigation buttons when physical home buttons are present.
Overall, the Moto X (if this is indeed the final design) will need a lot of getting used to if ever this is the final design of the said device. But with the aesthetics and design, it will be interesting how this will sit with the consumer electronic market buyers.
The Droid on the other hand could cover up for the criticism the Moto G carries. The leaked image shows a more lively and playful design that somehow vents away from the previous rugged designs it has been known for.
A reason behind the facelift is tied up with the fact that Lenovo is included in making the bold moves, resulting in a device that could surprise the existing and new Motorola loyalists.
All backlash and concerns may eventually be put to rest if word is true that Motorola will be unveiling their new devices this coming July or August.
