With most Apple loyalists focusing a lot on the iPhone 7, equally interesting is the coming of the iPad Air 3. To date, there have yet to be factual rumors tied up with the next tablet despite anticipation that it will be another device expected to come out in 2016.

But at the top of it all is the question on whether there will be indeed an iPad Air 3 coming our way. Everyone is aware of the iPad Pro which somehow places the iPad Air line in dire straits. With its coming, some are concerned on whether the iPad Pro will eventually turn into a serious productivity unit.

Regardless, there are many who believe that until that angle is settled, an iPad Air 3 is still a possibility. There is a chance that the next iPad Air may be unveiled at the World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) which is seen by many as another downline as far as the company’s revenue stream.

With no official word, the rumor mill is the best source to turn to for now where intriguing concepts are spurring up interest. Based on the concept from an artist named Geert van Uffelen, he compiles a list of possible features that the iPad Air 3 could carry.

That includes a 3D Touch display which would mark the first time the tablet would have it, an Apple Pencil, some quad speakers, a Retina display and an A10 chip to power it all up inside a slimmer tablet variant.

Up front could be an improved display (possibly 3,112 x 2,334 pixels at 401 ppi) which would be a big jump (about 50%) from the previous 2,048 x 1,536 resolution. At the back, there is a chance that the iPad Air 3 could come with a rear flash that could account for better photos using the Apple tablet.

Tablet cameras may hardly be important for some though the perk could be a good boost as far as added features for the said device is concerned.

Either way, the more features available hints at a better tablet for customers to consider. If ever the iPad Air 3 does come out and continue its legacy, features and specs will obviously play an important role in drawing consumer buying interest.
