Beyonce As 'Jesus Christ' Comment Gets Adele In Trouble

"25" artist Adele received some flak right after Tuesday night's performance in Denmark after the British doe-eyed crooner prattled about Beyonce on stage.

According to The Christian Times, the 28-year-old Adele stopped her live concert to talked about her admiration for the R N' B diva once known to be "Sasha Fierce." She said she could not imagine how the pop icon that she admires so much could still get better and even went as far as calling Beyonce the "sickest" artist in the world.

"How is it even possible that she only ever gets better? How is that possible? She is Jesus f****** Christ," Adele asked the crowd. "Beyoncé is the sickest artist around in the whole entire world; it's unbelievable. I've been listening to her for 17 years, and she's still making music that blows my mind," she added.

While some fans reacted positively to how Adele described Beyonce, others were not too happy with her remarks.  The social media was abuzz with comments saying that they think Beyonce should not be compared to Jesus Christ as it is unacceptable  because she did not die for anyone's sins.

"Beyonce is aware that Adele referred to her as Jesus Chris at a recent concert and of course is beyond flattered by her continued support," an insider told Hollywood Life.

Another source of the site said two are considering doing a project together. "Yes, they have discussed collaborating on a song or project together at some point. Adele says working with Queen Bey would be a dream come true," the insider said.

This is not the first time the "25" hitmaker declared her admiration to Beyonce.  The "Hello" singer recently shared a photo of herself on Instagram having an emotional moment with a Beyonce poster, just after Queen Bey released her "Lemonade" album.

She captioned the photo: "Beyoncé is the most inspiring person I've ever had the pleasure of worshipping."
