Justin Bieber Hates Fans: 'I Don't Owe Anybody A Picture'

Pop star Justin Bieber has been around to know that his popularity is one reason that his fans want a photo with him but it looks like all that may come to an end, at least temporarily.

Bieber has been frequently seen posing with fans and with celebrities (particularly the likes of Floyd Mayweather Jr.), but a recent Instagram post from the 22-year-old singer signals that those days are done and over with.

He reasons that people don’t treat him as a human anymore and that he wants to keep his sanity in check. He adds that it has gotten to a point where he feels like he is a zoo animal with no one bothering to say ‘Hi’ to him.

He is also aware that this will result into a lot of disappointed fans but bats that he doesn’t owe anyone a picture – regardless if they bought his album. Sarcastically, he adds that there was no ‘fine print’ that says that he should stop and take a picture with anyone.

Fans took exception on his tirade and reminded Bieber that it was the fans who made him and placed him where he is right now. Bieber was discovered back in 2007 via YouTube and has since risen to new heights and stardom along with some controversies.

In a way, Bieber may be losing it a bit but all that comes with the popularity level he is in. For any celebrity, it will be doubly hard to lead a normal life with most people recognizing you which may eventually end in the fans wanting a memorabilia with the pop star.

But then again, one cannot entirely blame Bieber for resorting to such. He has had his share of ‘scares’ such as that meet-and-greet back in March. Bieber has experienced his hair pulled, clothes ripped and also having one fan giving him the flu. That alone has spurred his security detail to improve before this latest ‘no photo op’ row.

"Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression," said Beiber via TMZ.

The current ordeal as nothing different from another popular star, Jennifer Lawrence who saw her privacy compromised when personal nude pictures were stolen and posted online in August of 2014.

"You can say, 'This [invasion of privacy] is part of my job and this is going to be a reality of my life,'" said Lawrence. “But what you don't expect is how your body and how your emotions are going to react to it. ...”
