GTA 5 Updates & Release Date: GTA 6 Coming This Summer?
Rockstar Games is revving up more improvements to its highly successful franchise “GTA 5” with new updates and downloadable contents which are expected to be available by the Summer. Word of such comes from the Daily Express which reveals two new updates headed the way of “GTA 5” gamers on leading game consoles such as the PS4, Xbox One and the PC. Expected to be included in the expansion are touching on improvements on the multiplayer mode as well as the game’s free mode.
The new update will reportedly give players proper control on their inventory, trade products and execute pickups and plans for raids. Stunt-ready vehicles, gears, Creator Tool props and more are also expected with the upcoming patch.
More details should be out in the coming weeks though the “GTA 5” updates may not be enough to satisfy the cravings of gamers. There are some who are more eager to find out when “GTA 6” will be out but most of the bits available out there mainly originate from rumors.
Among the rumors that have captured the fancy of gamers is that development for “GTA 6” has already commenced and such has led many to believe that “GTA 6” could be out by 2018. Rockstar has not released an official statement on the matter which technically categorizes this as unreliable for now.
Assuming that it does happen, rumors add that “GTA 6” will offer a new kind of map outside the US borders. Some have tied this up with the fact that Rockstar’s parent company (Take-Two) filed for a certain trademark for “GTA: Tokyo”, “GTA: Bogota” and “GTA: Sin City” and pundits are tying these up with the possible maps available for the next GTA franchise.
For the folks keeping a close eye on the cycle of releases by Rockstar, the expected store shelf release of GTA is on track if the five-year timeline is to be followed.
While that is up in the air, it is believed that there will be a new female character in the mix and actress Eva Mendes will be the voice talent for her. This will mean that GTA 6 will have its first-ever female protagonist if true.
Aside from Mendes, her husband Ryan Gosling will allegedly also lend his voice to the gaming franchise.
