Samsung Galaxy S7 Full Specs, Price & Release Date: Gadget Better Than HTC 10? [POLL, VIDEO]
The top two Android-powered phones in the market right now include the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the HTC 10. That should provide folks with some options to consider though a problem on which of the two to get will eventually crop up.
The HTC 10 is undoubtedly something that appeals to anyone. It is the latest flagship from the HTC brand that is slowly creeping up the leaders. It’s beauty is not limited to its exterior take but also from within.
The official specs of the HTC 10 include a 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 screen display backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC clocked at 1.6 GHz. Backing up those key specs are 4 GB of RAM and an optional 32 or 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD (up to 200 GB). It is further complimented by a 12 MP main camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera and a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery. It comes armed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Looking at that, the HTC 10 packs a lot of punch that makes it an ideal device to consider getting. It stands out (a bit) with its patented BoomSound speakers which will be ideal for folks who want a great sound-rendering mobile piece.
But what if a customer is brand-conscious, could care less about quality audio-rendering and looking for one that has an established place in the smartphone market?
That somehow becomes the edge of the Samsung Galaxy S7. A quick rundown shows the Samsung flagship shows a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, a similar Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of internal storage with similar microSD card slot expansion capabilities (up to 200 GB as well), a 12 MP main camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera and a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery. It comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As most can see, the two smartphones carry pretty much the same specs and offer impressive external aesthetics. With not much to ponder on the inside, it may all boil down to brand preference and design to sway actual purchase on the end of the consumer.
It is a tough one to call seeing that both devices have almost the same line of specs.
