‘The Legend Of Zelda’ Free Play For 500 Wii U Users, Announces Nintendo
Nintendo is reportedly giving 500 players a chance to play "The Legend Of Zelda" on Wii U early before the release of the game. The tickets for the same are said to be issued on 11, Jun, 2016.
Nintendo's official announcement has it that interested fans can take part in the Super-Fan Signup Day that will take place on Saturday, 11 Jun, 2016. First 500 fans in the queue will be given wristbands which they can exchange for tickets appropriate for the demo event.
The signup day event will take place in Nintendo store in New York and the wristbands will be given as soon as the store opens at 9 am ET. All the participants are expected to be present with their photo id proofs and children should bring a parent or guardian with them. The line-up starts as early as 7 am and the bands will be issued in next two hours. Tickets ensure that the winner will have a chance to play the game in the demo event scheduled to be held from June 14 to 19.
"The six-day free event will begin at noon ET on June 14, when fans will be invited to watch gameplay of The Legend of Zelda live-streamed from Nintendo's booth at this year's E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles to the 15-foot gaming screen inside Nintendo NY. This will be the world's first in-depth look at the game. Then at 3 p.m. ET, the first of 500 fans will begin sampling the game for the first time," noted Nintendo's official statement.
Furthermore, one of the fans was announced earlier to be selected through Twitter campaign to participate in the E3 event in Los Angeles to play Zelda Wii U. It is expected that the lucky winner will be announced on or before the event.
"From June 15 to June 19, Nintendo experts will also be giving guided game-play demonstrations on the big screen for everyone to watch and enjoy. Several fans may even get the chance to participate in guided demonstrations. There will also be The Legend of Zelda trivia for a chance for fans to win fun prizes," reported Always Nintendo.
