Recently formed developer Madmind Studio has announced its first game. Agony is a first person survival horror game coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2017.

The outwardly engaging horrorfest set in hell makes you play as a tormented soul who winds up in the aforementioned devilish world with no memory of his past, according to Indie Retro News.

Players will need to navigate the curved scene of the underworld communicating with other lost souls while attempting to make sense of an approach to get away.

The special ability to control other tormented souls on their path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives the player the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in.

By exploring the hostile environment and interacting with the other weary souls of the fiery underworld.

In light of the diversion's trailer and screenshots found on the studio's site, one of the primary enemies of the title will be the secretive Red Goddess. She is taunted to be an evil presence who is probably the only solution in which you can acquire once more your recollections.

Madmind studio involves veteran engineers, who have taken a shot at various AAA titles, which has included: The Division,Witcher 3,Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2,Alien Rage,Enemy Front,Real Boxing 2, andGodfire: Rise of the Prometheus.

In related news, video-game horror fans have both been ecstatic and hesitant on this first venture by Madmind Studio, according to Gamezone.

Jason Knight wrote on the website's comment section that:

"Normally I'd go "ooh, unreal engine, so you know they can't screw it up too bad. Thanks,  Arkham Knight for ruining that assumption. Here's hoping they have better luck with it... At least sounds like some competent folks are involved; just hope the PC version is ACTUALLY a PC version and not some piss poor half-hearted attempt."

While user Peter Krejc was expletively gushed:

"holy f@ck I don't know why this hasn't been done before, finally!"
