Apple’s iPhone 7 Leaks Confirm Its Specs Prior to Sept. 7 Launch
September has already started and as such, Apple fans and users are gearing up for the massive Apple Launch on September 7.
This time, Apple has promised its users new versions of Apple iPhone and iWatch among other flagship products. The new generation iPhone is rumored to come with a cleaner design with the antenna lines disappearing from its back.
Unfortunately, even after much controversy, Apple will be removing the headphone jack. However, they will be adding in a Lightning port, which can be used for not only charging the phone but also acting as a headphone jack. In short, the Lightning port will be multipurpose, reported The Verge.
Since Apple has done away with the headphone jacks, Apple will be possibly offering new pods to supplement that. However, it has not been confirmed yet, so this should only be treated as a rumor.
Several different sources suggested that Apple has decided to add another camera onto the back. This could be used for producing higher quality photos or offer a zoomed in version of the same. However, the second camera will be available only in the larger versions, i.e. the iPhone 7 Plus models.
Additionally, Apple has finally decided to do away with the 16 GB models. However, they will be adding a 256 GB model for the high - end users. The entry - level models for iPhone 7 will thus start at 32 GB, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Moreover, Apple might also make subtle changes to the home button making it clickless. The new button thus will be pressure sensitive to make it feel like users are pushing in on the screen. The latest iPhone might also see a change in colors as Apple is planning to do away with the "space gray" color, but once again, this is yet to be confirmed.
So, it seems that Apple will be making some changes to make its flagship product better, and swifter, but users will have to buy an iPhone in order to know and experience these features.
