‘The Originals’ Season 4 Spoilers: Marcel To Take On Klaus; Possible Crossover With TVD
Although the fourth season of "The Originals" will not premiere until next year, yet fans have been speculating about the future of Klaus and Marcel. Additionally, it has also been rumored that there might be a crossover of "The Vampire Diaries" with "The Originals", which the fans are eagerly waiting to see.
Notably, "The Vampire Diaries" will be pulled off after season 8, and that has left the fans speculating if the supernatural spinoff will also be canceled, reported GameNGuide.
Meanwhile, viewers have also been speculating about the plot of the fourth season of "The Originals". As TV Guide has mentioned, the upcoming season might see a new vampire. The vampire will reportedly have grudge against Klaus and will do anything to get what he wants. Chances are there that this new villain is Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood).
Earlier, the executive producer of the show Julie Plec mentioned that Klaus and Marcel's relationship is complicated yet interesting.
"The indignity of Klaus Mikaelson's situation the last five years [is being] held captive by his surrogate son and forced to be an advisor to a king that he does not recognize," EP Julie Plec says.
"Also, [he knows] Marcel is actually singularly responsible for the fact he's alive because so many people have come to town in the last five years desperate to see him reduced to ash," she mentioned to Entertainment Weekly.
As for "The Vampire Diaries" crossover, there are chances of some of the shows' cast joining "The Originals". Viewers may see Stefan Salavatore (Paul Wesley) appearing in "Originals" season 8 as he will be free after the termination of "The Vampire Diaries". Additionally, other characters like Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis), Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) and Enzo St. John might join the show among others.
Notably, the eighth season of "The Vampire Diaries" will be airing on October 21, while the premiere date of "The Originals" is yet to be announced.
