‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3: What You Need to Know

By Audrey | Update Date: Oct 06, 2016 08:56 AM EDT

Rick and Morty Season 3 hasn't aired yet considering it's already October! The TV execs and creators haven't given any specifics yet about the air date. What fans have are rumors floating around that the series is coming to your screens sooner than expected.

According to Geek, the speculations began from last season. This was when Mr. Poopy Butthole mentioned in a post-credits scene that the show will come back after a year or year and a half. Maybe even longer. It has been a year because that episode was aired back on Oct. 4, 2015. So fans assume the premiere date for season 3 would be around March 2017.

However, GamenGuide reported that the show's creator Dan Harmon told fans during the Magic City Comic Con that the series new episodes will more likely air in late 2016. The outlet also noted that because of the show's overwhelming success, it may even have some Hawaii beach adventures. Vin Diesel was even requested by Harmon to voice D&D upon joining the series.

Beth and Jerry Divorce?

Viewers already know that Beth and Jerry's marriage is facing some challenges at the moment. But whether or not they'll break up for good is yet to be seen. Plus, the Galactic Federal Prison offered Jerry a job! But what will happen if they find out about his connection with Rick?

Fans are also curious how Rick is going to save himself from a bunch of monster rat. Will a Frankenstein brained rat wearing a mech suit be of any help? Teasers are circulating around the web which only makes viewers more impatient than ever! It's unbelievable how an animated series can cause such a stir!

Guys, we'll just have to wait and see. If they tell us it's worth the wait, we'll just have to take their word for it. Let's just hope they don't disappoint! For more on Rick and Morty Season 3 updates, keep it here on Counselheal. Hit us with your feedback in the comments below.
