The latest "High School Musical 4" spoilers have suggested that the movie's release date will be filled with extra excitement as Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are set to take new roles.

Almost a decade after the film's third instalment was released, fans have been wondering what the fourth instalment can offer.

It can be recalled that in October 2008, Walt Disney Studios and Motion Pictures distributed "High School Musical 3: Senior Year."

Contrary to what everyone believed that it was already the last of the trilogy, it was learned early this year that "High School Musical 4" was actually on its way.

Game N Guide has hinted that fans can anticipate a thrilling new film considering that a new plot is likely to be introduced. 

The 28-year-old actor's character, Troy Bolton, and the 27-year-old actress' Gabriela Montez, are said to be getting married in the new instalment of the musical film.

Apart from this new chapter in their lives, the report also shared that in "High School Musical 4," Zac Efron will already be the coach of the East High basketball team, or the Wild Cats. Meanwhile, Vanessa Hudgens will be playing the role of the Glee Club's adviser.

Amid these speculations, fans should take them with a grain of salt especially that the concerned lead stars have not yet confirmed any of them.

Apart from the "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" actor and "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" actress, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu have also been rumored to make a comeback.

In the meantime, E! News reported that the Wildcat boys just had a mini-reunion on Wednesday.

 On Instagram, Zac Efron shared his black and white snap with Lucas Grabeel and Corbin Bleu, which was taken at the latter's "Holiday Inn Musical."
