Season 7 premiere episode is entitled Signs. It is expected to reveal which of the eleven remaining survivors fell Victim to Negan and his beloved barb wired-wrapped baseball bat, Lucille. On Monday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, October 23, The Walking Dead: The Journey so Far will be aired. So for those who missed a few episodes here and there, now's your chance to catch up.
More Details Given Away
The debut is coming very soon and naturally, more details have been teased. Wired reported that the latest one was at the Comic Con in New York. Showrunner Scott Gimple confirmed that fans won't be kept waiting to find out who lives and dies. He said, "the performances this year are astounding and promising some really weird creepy strange walkers," the nickname for zombies the show has been known for.
A new character, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) is also introduced into the story. For those who've seen the comics, Ezekiel runs The Kingdom, a place for survivors where he rules as king. He is backed up by a tiger named Shiva. The show makes this believable through animatronics and CGI.
So Who Died Already?
Digitalspy dissected 200 seconds worth of video searching for clues. Here are the possible victims.
Maggie could be a possibility because the teaser already showed the blood splatter on Rick's right cheek. And who was directly on his right? Maggie. There's even a battered engagement ring that could be seen amidst the guts and blood during the aftermath of Megan's attack.
How about Sgt. Ford (Michael Cudlitz)? There's good evidence that he's actually the real victim. First, the blood on Rick's cheek wasn't enough if the one hit was directly on his right. Abraham, on the other hand, was next to Maggie, who was a bit further from Rick. Now, that sounds more logical, doesn't it?
Then again, knowing The Walking Dead, you can never be sure of anything. So just make sure to tune in when it airs on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9/8c to AMC and to FOX in the UK on Monday, Oct. 24 at 9 p.m.
