Last year Huawei launched Mate 8 at the end of the year so there are speculations that Huawei 9 might be released in the ending months of this year.

 Despite lots of rumors, nothing is official as yet. The Mate 9 is definitely going to be an interesting phone.

As far as the design of this phone is concerned, the Mate 8 was a well-designed phone; hence we are expecting a better design in Mate 9. It's believed that this smartphone will have both standard and curved designs.

The two different body styles of Huawei Mate 9 shall be code named as Manhattan and Long Island. There is dual edge curved display in Long Island and its specifications shall be premium.

The phone will have a fingerprint sensor below a dual camera setup. It would possess a Leica branding, which will be flanked by a dual LED flash along with laser autofocus module. This phone shall be available in rose gold and pink colors.

This smartphone will feature dual camera setup with a vertical layout. There shall be two excellent 20-magapixel sensors with Leica branding.

Apart from design and camera the other specs of this device will turn it into a real predecessor of Mate 8. The device will possess Kirin 960 processor. It would be Hisilicon's latest production of processors. The chip of this phone will feature four Cortex A73 cores along with four Cortex A53 cores.

The release date of Mate 9 is November 3 , it would take few more weeks to be available for purchase in the market. The price would be $900 for the top model which means the top model will be equipped with all the specks.
